Davide Ricci - Tribalismo Elettronico
Back again with a new experimental album that combines percussion and synths. "Tribalismo Elettronico" was recorded between 2023 and 2024. This album differs from others in terms of sound, yet continues the journey that began with the first part of "Ashes From Fallujah," released in 2021. Percussion and rhythms are the primary instruments, while synths provide melodies, pads, and leads. Samples and analog drum machines enhance the percussion sounds.

I didn't use the mixer because the instruments were connected to each other via cables.. it was a strange/experimental setup. No mix, no mastering."

...The destiny of humans is to die from their own evils… Our extinction has already begun but we get so caught up in shit that surrounds us that we haven't noticed it or maybe we pretend... Wars, plagues, diseases, environmental disasters, pollution are just some of the events that man has created to self-destruct… We need so desperately to live that we screw everything up for fear of death... We live not to die… Why be afraid of something we don't know? Maybe death is gratifying, certainly much more than living by throwing shit on us... We don't even know why we exist, if we exist and what it means to exist... Maybe we are already dead...?! Otherwise I would prefer humanity to burn so maybe one day we will rise from the ashes to start a new era...

This album is a conceptual live recording. It was made with electronic instruments like modular systems, synthesizers, drum machines and electric piano, all recorded live in the studio. Over the past few months my mind was filled with landscapes and places "out of this world" so I felt that they needed a soundtrack to take them out of my head! Each track has been composed and recorded in one day to create a perfect coalition between my soul and the instruments used in that moment, I believe this is the formula to express myself in the best way.
