Davide Ricci (1994) is an Italian musician and sound explorer known for his deep connection to analog synthesizers, modular synths and experimental electronic music. His music world moves between ambient mysticism, ritual rhythms and raw electronic atmospheres inspired by ’70s and ’80s pioneers such as Klaus Schulze, Tangerine Dream, Software and others. Improvisation is at the core of his creative approach: synthesizers, drum machines, percussion, and acoustic instruments create evolving and organic sounds driven by raw energy. This approach is reflected both in his collaborations with labels and in a rich catalog of self-released exploring electronic and experimental sound.

He collaborates with the Italian label Heimat Der Katastrophe (HDK), creating music for horror and fantasy narratives.” Under HDK he released two iconic albums: “The Occult Summoner” and “Awaiting the Dragon”, blending dungeon-synth, berlin-school and cinematic sensibilities with atmospheric storytelling.
Alongside his electronic output, Davide remains strongly rooted in the underground metal and hardcore scenes. His “one-man band” project is the outlet through which he spread the most brutal, instinctive and feral side.
His partnership with Luciano Lamanna led to the creation of B A L A N C E, a duo centered on pure improvisation and live interaction with modular synthesizers and electronic instruments. Their performances are characterized by immersive sets, spontaneity, and a profound sense of electronic music exploration.

On the technical and professional side, Davide has played a significant role in the Italian modular synthesizer scene. He contributed to the growth and diffusion of Eurorack culture, helping musicians and producers discover new tools and shaping the dialogue around contemporary electronic instruments. He is also the founder of Roma Modulare, an event dedicated to modular synthesizers, which has attracted artists and technicians from different countries.
Since 2023 he has been active as a recording and mixing engineer, working on a wide range of projects including symphonic orchestras, opera productions, documentaries, short films, television and radio.

Thanks to the experience and skill gained over the years, he collaborate with well-known musicians and audio company brands for implementation of music projects, configurations and technical advice for live performance and studio gears.
