Davide Ricci is a musician born in 1994 who has always been fascinated by analogue synths's sounds and musical experimentation. In his albums we can hear sounds spanning from ambient/electronic mysticism to tribal rhythms. They are contaminated by the sounds of the pioneers of 70's and 80's electronic music such as Klaus Shulze, Brian Eno, Tangerine Dream, Software and many others. Davide is also a big fan of metal, punk and hardcore music. 

He prefers improvisation using synthesizers, drum machines, percussion and acoustic instruments during his studio sessions and live performances to creates organic sounds full of life.

He has carried out his Audio Recording and Mixing degree at APM Music School in Saluzzo (Italy). During these studies he has developed passion for musical experimentation and professional audio.

Davide debuts with his first album called "Ritual Journey" released by Eklero Records in 2019 on limited CD. His passion for sound research continues in 2021 giving life to "Ashes From Fallujah", an album rich of percussions and synthesizers to create an unexpected musical experience. 

In 2022 he made "The Occult Summoner" released by Heimat Der Katastrophe label. The album is available on limited edition cassette and features a collection of songs written for a horror/fantasy story inspired by tales of L.P. Lovecraft. 

The collaboration with Luciano Lamanna gave life to the B A L A N C E project where the concept of improvisation is the main strength. The duo stands out by the use of an impressive modular systems and instruments played live during live performances and studio sessions.. They keep on work together to create albums, singles and live sets in various location in Italy. 

Davide has a strong experience on Synthesizers and Professional Audio gears. He worked with Funky Junk Italy and then with Milk Audio Store, the first store in Italy that deal with the international distribution of Modular Synths in Eurorack format. He was the mind behind an event entirely dedicated to the discovery of new electronic instruments called Roma Modulare, to be held in Rome. This event attracts people from all over the world. 

In 2023 Davide joins the "RAI - Radio Televisione Italiana" as a sound engineer in audio post-production for TV and radio shows.

He teaches analogue/digital synthesis and holds workshops at Universities and Schools such as: Saint Louis Music College, Tor Vergata, IED Institute and others. 

Thanks to the experience and skill gained over the years, he collaborate with well-known musicians and audio company brands for implementation of music projects, configurations and technical advice for live performance and studio gears.
